The area of responsibility for this position is the assigned region, primarily involving administration of due diligence requirements for Agilent channel partners and including a regional lead role in process management and improvement activities in the area of Channel Partner Compliance Management. These include:
- Review of open-source investigations and due diligence information provided by channel partners.
- Making recommendations on the risk rating of the partner and suitably for having contract with Agilent.
- Implementing and managing compliance policies and requirements for the Channel Partner and Alternative Reseller programs, including the compliance requirements of companies acquired by Agilent technologies.
- Providing analysis and evaluation of compliance risks with third party partner programs.
Additional and equally important responsibilities include:
- Working with Channel partners and Agilent employees to complete the requirements on time, develop and deploy compliance training and awareness.
- Providing support to Legal Compliance to evaluate and help mitigate compliance risk in assigned region.
- Leading the design/ delivery of new projects/ programs/ processes as the key technical contributor on the Channels Compliance team.
- Solving complex, high impact system/process design/ workflow problems.
This role also involves working cross functionally between Sales, Contracts, Legal Compliance, Regulatory Compliance & Trade Compliance. The successful candidate will be effective at:
- Interfacing and achieving seamless process flow with these other functions.
- Ensuring effective communication across teams/functions.
- Keeping management informed of progress, key issues and changes which may impact the business.
- People and resource management through others and may include leading third-party resources.
- Working within a team and autonomously.
- Taking ownership and leading a variety of projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree or University Degree or equivalent.
- 5+ relevant experience for entry to this level.
- Ability to collaborate effectively cross functionally.
- Familiarity with contracts administration.
- Experience with indirect channel models including business with partners such as manufacturer reps, value added resellers, sales agent's distributors, etc.
- Experience with the execution of contract renewal process.
- Experience with the market preferred.
- Demonstrate successful decision making and influencing skill.
- Demonstrate leadership skill as a primary project owner.
- Demonstrate strong management and leadership in implementing program/organization changes.
- Ability to work independently.
- Proven track record of process automation/improvement and tool development preferred.
