What you'll do at Cascade:

Cascade is seeking a Compliance Specialist who will play an important role in advancing Cascade’s regulatory compliance program. This role will be a member of a dynamic Compliance team, reporting to the VP of Compliance.
Key Accountabilities:
- Providing regulatory compliance guidance effectively both verbally and in writing to mitigate any potential or actual regulatory compliance or operational risks.
- Comprehending consumer lending regulations, including but not limited to AML, ECOA, FCRA, TRID, HMDA, RESPA, TILA, OFAC, UDAAP, Federal & State laws, and laws applicable to chattel lending.
- Providing regulatory compliance solutions that are operationally attainable and sustainable.
- Ensuring potential or actual regulatory compliance or operational risks are addressed in terms of their criticality.
- Solving compliance questions posed by Cascade's loan origination team, including answering questions directed to the Compliance In-box and working on projects to assist Origination teams.
- Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, testing, and reporting of compliance regulatory information.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiencies.
- Knowledgeable in consumer protection, with strong proficiency in mortgage related requirements
- Strong organizational skills to track, monitor, investigate and resolve consumer complaints
- Perform other Special duties and/or projects as assigned.
What you’ll need to join Cascade:
- 5-7 years of mortgage experience in the fields of Compliance and Risk Management
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- CRCM or similar designation a plus
- Experience with Encompass and Mavent
Skills & Competencies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Excel & Word).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interface with internal business partners.
- Strong collaboration and relationship building abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced production environment.
