Job Description:
The Compliance Specialist is responsible for investigating and managing policy violations, supporting dōTERRA members, and partnering with Account Managers, Compliance Management, and other cross-functional teams to resolve complex or escalated issues. This role serves as a resource for members and internal teams by providing clear guidance on Company Policy, helping resolve concerns, and promoting compliance across the market. The ideal candidate is a strong problem-solver and communicator who can confidently navigate sensitive situations, make sound decisions, and balance compliance requirements with a positive member experience. This role requires attention to detail, sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Investigate potential policy violations and determine appropriate resolution in accordance with Company Policy.
Educate members on Company Policy, procedures, and expectations while providing clear and professional guidance.
Review member communications, marketing materials, and other content to ensure compliance with Company Policy and applicable FDA and FTC standards.
Communicate directly with members regarding compliance concerns, policy violations, and required corrective actions.
Document investigations, findings, communications, and resolutions accurately and thoroughly.
Identify, address, and resolve policy infractions while ensuring consistent application of Company Policy.
Manage multiple cases and priorities while meeting established deadlines and service expectations.
Job Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent.
0 - 1 year of experience.
English and French proficiency level required.
Ability to conduct training classes.
Ability to operate a personal computer for data entry and reporting using MS Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Actively participates and collaborates with others on one's own team and across doTERRA for the achievement of business goals.
Proactive attitude and ability to work with minimal supervision.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands, manage multiple cases, and follow assignments through to completion.
