Help Build a Culture of Compliance and Trust

TRA Medical Imaging is seeking an experienced Compliance Program Manager to lead compliance across our outpatient imaging organization. Your work will help protect patients, support employees and physicians, and translate healthcare requirements into practical, sustainable processes.

As our sole internal compliance professional within the HR & Compliance team, you will manage the program with support from an external Compliance Officer and advisory team. You will report to the CEO in coordination with the Director of Human Resources, partnering with leaders to assess risks, recommend improvements, and implement approved decisions.

This role is ideal for a curious, resourceful professional who can work independently, build credibility, and guide change through clear communication and consistent follow-through.

What You’ll Do

  • Own both the daily work and ongoing improvement of the compliance program, from maintaining records and responding to questions to assessing risks and advising leadership.
  • Carry policies and process changes through their full lifecycle: research requirements, draft recommendations, obtain leadership approval, develop training, implement changes, and monitor adoption and accountability.
  • Handle incident reports from intake through closure, including documentation, investigation coordination, escalation, and follow-up with responsible leaders on corrective actions.
  • Perform compliance audits and site visits, document findings, recommend practical solutions, and verify that corrective actions are completed and effective.
  • Create and deliver compliance training, assign learning modules, maintain acknowledgments and completion records, and follow up on overdue requirements.
  • Administer compliance systems and maintain accurate policies, regulatory records, action logs, and documentation supporting HIPAA, OSHA, and ACR accreditation readiness.
  • Serve as the day-to-day compliance resource for employees, physicians, and supervisors; explain expectations, work through concerns, and reinforce accountability with professionalism and respect.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and prepare clear leadership reports on risks, incidents, audit findings, and progress, drawing on the external Compliance Officer and advisory team for specialized guidance.

What We’re Looking For

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, compliance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • 4–6 years of progressive experience in healthcare compliance, risk management, quality, regulatory operations, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance monitoring, audit practices, incident investigations, internal controls, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to independently interpret requirements, prioritize competing needs, and turn findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, including the ability to navigate resistance, influence without direct supervisory authority, and follow through on corrective actions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn compliance, training, incident reporting, and data systems.

Preferred:

  • Outpatient healthcare or radiology experience, including familiarity with HIPAA, OSHA, and ACR accreditation.
  • Experience coordinating organization-wide programs and a relevant compliance certification, such as Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC).
