The Role
The Governance and Program Support (GPS) team manages main components of Block's Compliance Risk Management Framework within Block Compliance. As a Compliance Policy and Training Manager, you'll drive our global compliance policy and training programs, ensuring they're current, effective, and meet regulatory requirements.
This role can be hired remotely.
You Will
- Lead the development and maintenance of compliance documents across key areas (AML, Sanctions, Anti-Bribery and Corruption, Consumer Protection, and Lending)
- Design and delivery engaging compliance training programs for diverse audiences
- Manage policy review calendar and exceptions processes
- Create and maintain training content using multiple delivery methods
- Partner with policy leads to ensure alignment between policies, standards, and procedures
- Support regulatory examinations and internal audit requests
- Drive continuous improvement of policy and training programs through feedback and metrics
- Maintain learning management system content and user tracking
- Ensure documentation and trainings meet regulatory requirements and Block standards
You Have
- 5+ years of compliance experience in financial services, fintechs, or equivalent government agencies or within consulting
- Experience managing compliance policy and training programs in global organizations
- Knowledge of multiple policy domains (Consumer Protection, Lending, AML, Sanctions, etc.)
- Strong technical writing and communication skills
- Proven project management experience with cross-functional teams
- Experience with learning management systems and content development

- Industry certifications (CAMS, CRCM, CFE)
- FinTech or Financial Services background
- Instructional design experience
- E-learning development expertise

Block takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. U.S. locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
