Job Description

  • Conduct scheduled and unannounced on-site compliance monitoring visits within the assigned geographic region. 
  • Perform file and documentation reviews to verify compliance with program requirements, policies, and regulations. 
  • Interview program contractors, staff, and participants to validate accuracy, compliance, and operational practices. 
  • Collect, review, and analyze monitoring data to assess risk levels, identify trends or inconsistencies, and evaluate adherence to regulatory requirements. 
  • Evaluate personal, demographic, and company data for eligibility and status verification. 
  • Verify, research, and respond to reports or complaints submitted by program participants, contractors, or the public. 
  • Identify compliance deficiencies and determine appropriate corrective actions, follow-up activities, or referrals for further investigation. 
  • Document monitoring activities, findings, and outcomes in required state or internal compliance systems. 
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to support leadership decision-making. 
  • Maintain organized monitoring files and ensure documentation meets audit and record retention requirements. 
  • Travel frequently within the Alamo Region (Bexar County and surrounding counties). 
  • Perform other related duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, or four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in compliance monitoring, auditing, program oversight, or regulatory enforcement. 
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. 
  • Two years’ experience in compliance, with 4 or more preferred in compliance monitoring, auditing, program oversight, or regulatory compliance preferred. 
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and be able to travel within the assigned service area as required to perform job duties.

  • Knowledge of compliance monitoring, auditing, or regulatory oversight principles. 
  • Ability to interpret and apply regulations, policies, and procedural guidelines. 
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Effective interview and communication skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data tracking systems. 
  • Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion.

Annual Salary Range $68,000 - $80,000
