The Compliance Manager's primary responsibility is to ensure the casino adheres to all federal, state, and tribal gaming laws and regulations, including the National Indian Gaming Commission (NIGC) Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS). This involves monitoring operations, conducting audits, interpreting regulations, and implementing corrective actions as needed. The role also includes overseeing record retention and reporting, maintaining expertise in gaming violations and regulations, and collaborating with other departments to ensure compliance across the casino. Responsibilities are performed in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures. This position will directly report to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Essential Functions:- Responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting North Fork Mono Casino's culture and always demonstrating exemplary Service Standards.
- Review all Compliance procedures required by the NIGC, Gaming Commission and North Fork Mono Casino's System of Internal Controls that are not performed as part of a daily audit.
- Supervise department and run reports.
- Pull all audit checklists for audit purposes to ensure that all items have been completed as required.
- Prepare an audit checklist outlining and attesting to all required procedures.
- Prepare all exceptions for any errors found as a result of the audits.
- Ensure that proper responses are received on all audit exceptions.
- Prepare weekly report for the Director of Finance outlining audits performed and exceptions found.
- Perform walkthroughs of gaming areas, utilizing approved questionnaires to ensure that Team Members are properly trained and understand all required procedures.
- Update and maintain an exception schedule by Team Member to ensure that Team Members with repeated exceptions are identified and receive further training.
- Assist Department Heads with training in problem areas.
- Responsible for correspondence with the Tribal Gaming Commission -- i.e., notification of trial audits, etc.
- Responsible for property record retention, including the maintenance of box logs and location of all boxes.
- Responsible for ensuring that staff payroll is completed and approved prior to the close of payroll deadline.
- Ensure the direction given by Station Casinos compliance department is followed.
- Other job-related duties as assigned.
- Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
- Basic understanding of accounting, gaming and regulatory requirements including but not limited to Title 31 and Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS).

- All work is performed on site in Madera, CA.
- Requires manual dexterity to perform job related functions.
- Ability to sit, stand or walk for the duration of their shift.
Team Members will be in constant contact with fellow Team Members and Guests. Work includes the maintenance and care of the assigned work area. Work is typically performed in an office environment. However, work may be in an area, which may be unusually hot, cold, noisy, and may contain secondhand smoke. Work may be performed in a confined area. Work may be scheduled at various hours, including working overtime, and during evening, weekends, and holidays. Work may entail trained chemical usage. Work is in a high volume, fast paced environment with frequent interruptions.

What We Do
North Fork Mono Casino & Resort is a new entertainment destination opening in Fall 2026 in Madera, California, on Highway 99. The resort will feature over 2,400 slot machines, 40 table games, and eight dining options, including two full-service restaurants and six quick-serve venues, serving as a hub for gaming and hospitality in the Central Valley.
