As a Compliance Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading and overseeing the full contract process, ensuring projects move forward smoothly, compliantly, and on time. This role puts you at the center of high-impact projects, partnering with leadership and stakeholders to shape outcomes and keep everything running by the book.

Insight on your impact:

  • Own and manage the full contract lifecycle, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal requirements
  • Oversee bidding, contract issuance, change orders, and documentation to keep projects moving efficiently and audit-ready
  • Act as a key advisor to leadership by identifying risks, recommending contract improvements, and resolving complex or sensitive issues
  • Partner closely with project managers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure University standards and timelines are met
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation to support internal reviews and external audits
  • Contribute to a collaborative, inclusive work environment while supporting the organization’s long-term success

  • Strong ability to interpret and apply moderately complex contracts, policies, and regulations
  • Experience coordinating bidding processes and reviewing compliance-related documentation
  • High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Clear, effective communication skills across leadership, staff, contractors, and external agencies
  • Proven organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Experience leading, training, and supervising administrative staff
  • Strong research, documentation, and reporting capabilities
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
