We are expanding our compliance team at Greenlight and looking for a Compliance Manager who will report directly to our Chief Compliance Officer. This person will supervise a team of 1-3 persons and develop strong rapport with business counterparts and colleagues.
What you will be doing:
- Oversee elements of the Greenlight consumer compliance program to ensure regulatory requirements are addressed by marketing, product and business processes
- Participate in the regulatory change management process, which includes identifying regulatory changes, determining applicability, communicating with stakeholders, and tracking implementation
- Manage risk assessment process for the consumer compliance program, provide support during audits and regulatory examinations and ensure implementation of any resulting new policies and procedures
- Assist management with implementation of appropriate controls, policies and procedures to detect and address potential compliance gaps
- Work with Product to assess and implement new features, services, technologies and initiatives
- Oversee and manage the review and approval of marketing materials in accordance with compliance requirements, company policies, applicable regulations, and partner requirements
- Establish internal testing of consumer-facing screens, ensuring they remain in place as approved
- Refine and oversee processes for consumer complaint tracking, Reg E disputes, the onboarding of new tools
- Act as subject matter expert regarding company marketing and product compliance policies and procedures and provide guidance and training to company employees
- Partner with Legal and Privacy on creation and updates to consumer facing agreements, disclosures/disclaimers, consents, promotions, contests, and sweepstakes
- May serve as compliance liaison on various committees and projects representing the interest of the departments
- Ability to manage, coach, train, and mentor other compliance associates, even if not direct reports
What you should bring:
- Experience with prepaid card programs and/or fintechs in a consumer compliance role
- Familiarity with consumer protection regulations and agencies, including but not limited to Regulation E, FTC, UDAAP, CAN-SPAM, CFPB, EFTA, and ECOA
- Advanced skills in reviewing and editing written materials including policies, procedures, presentations, trainings, and testing reports
- Previous investment advisory compliance experience a plus, but not required
- Familiarity with Google Workspace/G Suite, compliance management tools
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail while maintaining the big picture
- Partner with other functional areas to accomplish objectives
- Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently and maintain deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
- Willingness to learn as the department and company grows
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, pre-law or other relevant field and six (6) years of experience in Compliance and/or the financial services industry or equivalent combination of education and experience

Our stance on salaries:
Greenlight provides a competitive compensation package with a market-based approach to pay and will vary depending on your location, experience and skill set. The total compensation package for this position will also include a discretionary performance bonus, equity rewards, medical benefits, 401K match, and more. Greenlight conducts continuous compensation evaluations across departments and geographies to ensure we are keeping our pay current and competitive.
The estimated base pay range for this position in (NY, CA, WA): $135,000- 150,000
The estimated base pay range for this position in (CO): $135,000- 140,000
