We are looking for an organised and proactive Compliance Manager to join our compliance team. The role involves supporting the Head of Compliance with implementing the financial crime framework and leading on various compliance matters for our insurance and fiduciary businesses.
Principal Accountabilities

  • Managing compliance monitoring programme
  • Providing advice and support to client leads on compliance matters
  • Liaising with regulatory bodies including the GFSC
  • Acting as Nominated Officer
  • Ensuring regulatory deadlines are met
  • Advising on policy and procedures manuals
  • Reporting to clients on compliance matters
  • Maintaining effective co-operation with central group compliance support function staff

Attributes and Skills:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in financial services compliance role or similar
  • Familiarity with the Guernsey financial crime framework
  • Relevant qualification in compliance
  • Knowledge of insurance and/or fiduciary regulation desirable
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise work
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft365
