The Compliance Manager is vital for overseeing daily operations concerning post-closing obligations, as well as lender and property compliance. This role requires close collaboration with regional leadership and asset management to ensure properties fulfill lender-mandated requirements and are prepared for transactions. With a fast-paced environment, the position demands a strong sense of urgency and meticulous attention to detail. The Compliance Manager must be comfortable in communicating with leadership, leading regional calls, and compiling reports.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages the daily functions surrounding post close obligations and lender compliance.

  • Investigate and resolve issues related to documentation, payments, and other post-closing obligations in a timely manner.

  • Regularly communicates with the Asset Management teams and other stakeholders to provide updates, address concerns, and ensure a seamless post-closing experience.

  • Maintain accurate records of all post-closing activities and resolutions; prepare reports as needed for management review.

  • Anticipates risk and escalates as needed.

  • Works closely with Senior Manager, Property lender Compliance to ensure property and lender compliance functions are being properly executed.

  • Provide guidance and training to team members regarding post-closing obligations and compliance requirements.

  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BA or BS in Finance, Real Estate, Business Management

  • 3-5 years of experience in real estate industry

  • 1+ years of management experience preferred.

  • Ability to work in an organized, detailed manner under tight deadlines
