Job Description
In this job you play an active role in influencing the development of CB Supply steering documents and processes end-to-end by securing that mandatory requirements and adequate key controls are clearly addressed. This is done by focusing on methods and tools and interacting with specialists (e.g. tax, customs…) and legal to ensure we have compliance integrated into our processes and ways of working.
You will also contribute to the creation and implementation of the annual compliance plan for Supply (based on key risks and global & local priorities) and to the development and execution/facilitation of compliance verification programs that support and encourage awareness and interest in compliance through learning and communication.
You have preferably some years of experience with IKEA, a good understanding of the overall Inter IKEA Group structure and governance and of the different organizations that are part of the IKEA supply chain.
More specifically, in this role you will be accountable to:
- Influence and contribute to the continuous improvement of our steering documents ( policies, manuals, working methods) and processes.
- Co-create and perform all stages of our annual compliance verification plan and activities.
- Drive continuous improvement, collaboration and knowledge sharing of methodologies, tools, steering documents and processes across the Risk and Compliance Community.
- Ensure consistency by supporting the use of relevant risk management models (3 lines), tools (GRC solution) and methodologies (IIG methodology on Compliance).
- Collaborate and communicate with other parts of the organisation to understand needs of stakeholders and devise possible solutions.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have experience in:
- Professional around compliance standards and programmes, control frameworks and document management.
- Understanding of governance and steering documents structure, end to end processes and internal controls.
- Understanding of risk and compliance frameworks / Quality control systems.
- Strong networking, facilitation and communication skills.
- Strong listening, influencing and writing / reporting skills.
- Demonstrate the ability to lead yourself and others in a matrix dimension.
- Ability to interact with various management levels.
- Understanding of the IKEA core businesses, main processes and the customer needs to be able to improve the business constantly.
- Good analytical skills.
- Passion for people, for their culture and values.
- High integrity and level of independence.
- Eagerness to work with people in a diverse, international and fast changing environment.
