WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Compliance Expert, you will be responsible for assessing, monitoring, and supporting supplier compliance with H&M Group’s sustainability standards. You will play a key role in identifying risks, driving corrective actions, and strengthening supplier capabilities to ensure responsible and compliant production practices.

What is Production? It's the place where design ideas are transformed into actual products. We are in over 20 sourcing markets and are the direct point of contact for local suppliers. We work to ensure our products are of good quality and produced at the best price and in a sustainable way.

We are looking for people to …
- Ensure smooth business operations through compliant, resilient factories that respect human rights and the environment
- Secure human Rights, Health and Safety, Environment, Capacity building of factories and remediation
- Balance the compliance with business demands, navigating complex factory realities.
- Develop stronger factory systems, secure business operations, effective supplier relationships, improved worker well‑being, data‑based decision‑making, and ongoing supply chain improvement
- Conduct random on-site audits to assess supplier compliance with sustainability requirements
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure identified non-compliances are addressed and corrective actions are implemented effectively
- Lead and contribute to supplier capacity-building initiatives to strengthen sustainability knowledge and practices
- Find documents accurately and provide clear input to support compliance follow-up and continuous improvement
- Monitor and support remediation activities, ensuring timely and effective execution of Corrective Action Plans (CAPs)
AND PEOPLE WHO HAVE
- Academic background in Law/Social/Environmental Since is preferrable
- 5 to 7 years of working experience in similar role
- Hands-on auditing background and strong knowledge on industry platform such as: SLCP, Higg FSLM/FEM, RSC/ACCORD, BSCI)
- Legal or regulatory compliance, Health & Safety (H&S), Compliance Data Validation, Environmental and Chemical Management (e.g., ZDHC, wastewater, ETP)
- Tendency to work in a structured, execution-focused, and collaborative way, applying your expertise and H&M’s values to achieve measurable sustainability outcomes
- Skill of demonstrating strong execution, ensuring tasks and follow-ups are completed with precision and timeliness
- Focus on accuracy, accountability, and constructive dialogue in your daily work
- Skill to communicate clearly, respectfully, and constructively with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Expertise managing stakeholder interactions with professionalism and integrity, fostering accountability and collaboration
- Good problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
