 I. Job Summary
Educate customers on extensive OSHA, HIPAA compliance as well as HazCom compliance/regulations via slide presentations, on site facility OSHA Evaluations/ HIPAA Gap Analysis and customer consultation. 
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
 

  • Provide onsite services as designed to include presenting most recent required power point presentations, OSHA site evaluations/HIPAA; provide gap analysis form to client, Mystericycle.com system overview, completion of one safely plan and evaluation with recommendations of the Safety Data Sheets/SDS manual
  • Assist with managing assigned territory/book of business; manage expenses (i.e. travel, hotel, flights, etc.) to ensure compliance services are professionally provided to all Preferred customers within established due dates
  • Respond to all phone calls and emails from customers to provide answers/resolutions to compliance questions and information needed to assist the customer with achieving compliance
  • Possess level of technology knowledge to enable you to utilize electronic technology to deliver and complete the onsite visit and upload customer documents/reports ASAP including but not limited to power point, word, excel, etc.
  • Continuously study and maintain current competency in the areas of bloodborne pathogens, OSHA, HIPAA and HazCom regulations to enhance proficiencies as well as continuing to study CDC protocols for health care workers
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned

  • (accredited) or equivalent experience
  • of Experience, in a healthcare environment and/or OSHA/HIPAA compliance
  • Completion required upon joining our Team, of structured 30-hour online OSHA training and required online HIPAA training resulting in certification of course completion

Starting Rate -$34/hr

Skills Required

  • Completion upon joining of structured 30-hour online OSHA training and required online HIPAA training with certification
  • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel and ability to upload customer documents/reports electronically
  • Ability to perform onsite OSHA site evaluations, HIPAA gap analyses, and deliver slide presentations to customers
  • Maintain current competency in bloodborne pathogens, OSHA, HIPAA, HazCom regulations and CDC protocols for healthcare workers
  • Experience in a healthcare environment and/or OSHA/HIPAA compliance
  • (Accredited) degree or equivalent experience
  • Willingness to travel for onsite customer visits and obtain REAL ID or TSA-approved alternative if required
