Saxo Bank Belgium is expanding its Compliance team and looking for a passionate and driven Compliance Associate to join us in our Antwerp office. This is your chance to be part of a dynamic and collaborative environment where your expertise will help shape the future of financial compliance.
Our Compliance department plays a vital role as the second line of defense, ensuring that Saxo Bank operates within legal and regulatory boundaries. We provide both solicited and unsolicited advice, conduct investigations, and act as a trusted partner to the business and management. Our mission is to support the bank’s strategic goals while upholding the highest standards of integrity and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily, risk-based advice on high-risk client files, supporting our Onboarding & KYC department
- Assess and report potentially suspicious transactions related to AML/CTF
- Conduct periodic monitoring activities within the Compliance Risk & Control Framework, focusing on client integrity and CDD
- Assist with investigations initiated by regulators or third parties
- Raise awareness on compliance topics across the first line of defense
- Support second-line reviews of first-line processes and analyses
Your profile
We are looking for a motivated and analytical professional with at least two years of relevant experience in the financial sector, ideally as a CDD analyst. While prior experience in Compliance is a plus, we value your potential and mindset above all.
You are an independent thinker with a pragmatic and collaborative approach. Your enthusiasm and hands-on mentality drive you to take initiative and contribute meaningfully. You possess strong analytical skills and can navigate complex issues with clarity. Fluency in both Dutch and English, written and spoken, is essential for this role.
