Job Description:

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

 

GOVERNMENT REPORTING AND UPDATES  

 

Assist PEZA Compliance Officer in preparing compliance requirements of PEZA on asset transfer and disposal requirements. Assist in various LGU and BIR Requirements 

 

Assist PEZA Compliance Officer in preparing documentary requirements for various compliance areas: 

  •  Validation of Income Tax Holiday and other benefits conferred under PEZA rules 

  • Preparation of all asset management requirements and PEZA permits and related documents to be processed 

  • Preparation of local sales liquidation report for domestic activities  

  • Maintenance and control of organized filing systems of PEZA documents. 

 

Processing PEZA application and permits 

 

Processing LGU Requirements 

  • Renewal of Business permits (Iloilo City) 

  • Business Permit Company (Iloilo City) 

 

Liaison officer for PEZA and BIR filings 

 

General Safety and Security 

  • Protects the organization’s assets by upholding the principles of the Quality Information Security Management System (QISMS). 

  • Ensures confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information critical to fulfilling the organization’s business functions. 

 

COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS: 

 

A. TECHNICAL COMPETENCY: 

 

  • Knowledge on PEZA rules and regulations and asset management in a BPO environment: 

 

Knowledgeable on the RA 7916 implementing rules and regulations  

Able to identify erroneous documents submitted when checking accuracy and existence of documentation 

Able to require documents as needed to ensure completeness of transactions prior to re. 

Able to make recommendations and resolution  

 

  • Familiarity on Company’s Methods and Procedures (M&P’s) 

 

Able to check compliance on M&P’s based on documents submitted for validation. 

2. Able to check proper approvers of documents per Company’s financial authority policy.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS: 

 

Reports to: Business Controllership - AVP 

 

  • Graduate of BSC preferably Accounting graduate  

  • At least one (1) year experience in General Accounting or PEZA Compliance functions 

  • Has hands-on experience working in a mechanized environment; preferably SAP 

  • Male or Female 

  • Good analytical skills and interpersonal skills 

  • Hardworking, flexible, attentive to details, organized worker
