  • Qualified auditor – APSCA / SA8000 / ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 is plus
  • Qualified verifier for Higg FEM & FSLM, SLCP is plus

Extensive knowledge of production processes, laundry product recipes, environmental health and safety (EHS), HIGG FEM (all versions), Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC), BVE3+CC, chemical portals, Safety Data Sheets (SDS) knowledge and compatibility, Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) Bio+Chem operations, PACT, brands’ EHS requirements, and relevant laws.

Job Responsibility

Social Compliance:

  • Support suppliers to elevate compliance with Kontoor Brands audit protocol and improve their final audit designations.
  • Communicate with vendors and factories on requirements in Kontoor Brands Facility and Auditor Guidelines.
  • Provide tools and knowledge for suppliers to prepare ahead of Initial Supplier compliance audit.
  • Assist in building awareness at supplier locations about Kontoor Brands audit protocol.
  • Partner with auditors in completing facility CSR scorecard assessment upon completion of social compliance audit.
  • Monitor and review supplier compliance audits and audit reports conducted by nominated third parties.

Environmental Sustainability:

  • Assist suppliers in understanding the Higg Index Facility Environmental Module (FEM).
  • Develop and deliver training to all nominated suppliers on Higg Facilities Environment Module (FEM).
  • Communicate, manage, and facilitate adoption and verification of the Higg FEM throughout the regional supply chain.
  • Collaborate with supply chain teams and nominated suppliers to develop performance improvement plans that improve Higg scores.
  • Track and report progress through use of Higg Index Facility Environmental Modules.
  • Coordinate the implementation of climate action and water conservation related projects to Kontoor’s suppliers.

Sustainable Living Environment (SLE):

  • Build a comprehensive understanding of worker livelihood challenges in their local community.
  • Assist consulting firms and NGOs in executing worker community well-being development programs.
  • Regularly review performance with supplier and Responsible Sourcing team to ensure the Kontoor wellbeing development programs are on track.

Others:

  • Data capturing and analysis of various CSR programs’ performance metrics.
  • Handle labor disputes, media issues, and allegations to minimize reputational risk.
  • Assume additional responsibilities and perform special projects as needed or directed.

· Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word.

· Excellent analytical and communication skills, both written and oral.

· High Emotional Quotient (EQ) in working with cross-functional/cultural partners.

· Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with and influence others.

· Decision-making skills that integrate CSR into business sustainably.
