Location:
- Preferred: Charlotte, with an expectation to work in-office 2–3 days per week.

The Position
The Compliance Analyst will support the organization’s regulatory compliance program to ensure compliance activities are aligned with the organization’s strategic objectives, risk appetite, and oversight expectations. This role requires a solid understanding of corporate governance principles, enterprise risk management, and the organization’s risk framework.
This position is primarily responsible for identifying, assessing, and monitoring third-party vendor risks, evaluating control effectiveness, and supporting remediation efforts within established governance and risk management structures. The Compliance Analyst collaborates with vertical business stakeholders across the organization to strengthen oversight of vendors and outsourced services and to ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Key Responsibilities
Third-Party Vendor Compliance & Oversight
- Support third-party risk management activities, including onboarding, ongoing monitoring, and offboarding of vendors
- Perform compliance due diligence and risk assessments of third-party vendors, including review of policies, controls, and regulatory attestations
- Evaluate vendor compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, contractual obligations, and internal policies
- Track and manage vendor issues, remediation efforts, and risk acceptance decisions
- Partner with different verticals, Legal, and Information Security to ensure vendor contracts include appropriate compliance and regulatory requirements
Compliance Monitoring & Governance
- Assist in the development and maintenance of compliance policies, procedures, and risk assessment methodologies
- Support regulatory exams, audits, and internal reviews related to compliance and third-party risk
- Maintain accurate documentation, evidence, and audit trails to support regulatory inquiries
- Contribute to compliance training and awareness initiatives related to risk and vendor management
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in regulatory compliance, risk management, or third-party/vendor risk management
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks relevant to the organization (e.g., financial services, healthcare, data privacy, or technology regulations)
- Experience conducting risk assessments and vendor due diligence reviews
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with third-party risk management tools or GRC platforms
- Familiarity with regulatory expectations related to vendor oversight (e.g., outsourcing, data protection, operational resilience)
- Experience supporting regulatory examinations or audits
- Strong organizational skills and a proactive mindset; a self-starter capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities under tight deadlines.
- Flexibility to take on new responsibilities to support emerging processes, innovations, and business needs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
