Job Title: Compliance Analyst
Location: 100% remote
What you will do:
To facilitate an effective corporate compliance and privacy programs through the performance of ongoing compliance operational duties, review of laws and regulations, extraction and analysis of data from systems, and collaboration with other team members and employees throughout the organization to address compliance questions and concerns and issues.

Monitor, investigate and document activities and follow-up related to all privacy and compliance related concerns through Origami, EthicsPoint and email. Collaborate with other members of Corporate Compliance in investigation of privacy and compliance concerns

Monitor employee access to patient information on a proactive basis

Investigate assignments of patient access accounts (MyChart) to ensure compliance with HIPAA privacy laws and breach notification requirements

Perform monthly government sanctions and exclusion reviews for employees, Medical Staff members, volunteers and vendors, and facilitate communication with the vendor

Research, interpret, and summarize federal and state regulatory requirements, and provide compliance assistance in the implementation of system initiatives

Monitor and analyze reports obtained from systems (such as Maize, Workday, Epic), and reports from vendor services for compliance concerns and investigate and report on those concerns

Assist other team members in responding to government audits

Demonstrate an aptitude to extract information from systems and create meaningful reports that assist other team members in conducting audits, reviews and investigations

Annually solicit employees regarding conflict of interest and review responses relating to possible conflict of interest

Assists in developing compliance and privacy education
-
Coordinate SIU activities and follow-up between the SIU vendor, CCHP and TPA.

Responsible for ongoing monitoring and responses to the Corporate Compliance email box

Track & document all privacy and compliance related issues and questions.
What you will need:
-
Bachelor’s Degree
-
One to three years of compliance experience, or relevant professional experience, preferably in healthcare setting
-
Proficient in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Powerpoint
-
Experience presenting information in a clear and concise manner both in writing and verbally. Skill in writing concise, logical, and grammatically correct reports to explain complex and sensitive issues.

Experience conducting internet research, identifying and summarizing pertinent information

Desire and aptitude to extract and analyze data, identify trends, summarize information and analyze facts, preferably within the context of a regulatory compliance department
