The Compliance Analyst, FIU position serves as an essential role in safeguarding the integrity of the organization's operations and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. This pivotal role requires a unique blend of aml expertise, investigative experience, analytical skills, and strategic thinking to effectively manage compliance risks in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Role Responsibilities
• Manage the FIU’s centralized intake channels, including shared mailboxes and referral queues for fraud notifications, law enforcement matters, internal referrals, business concerns, and other financial crime-related escalations.
• Review, categorize, prioritize, and assign incoming matters based on risk, urgency, subject matter, jurisdiction, and established FIU procedures.
• Monitor investigative assignments, case aging, and service-level agreements, following up with case owners and escalating overdue, high-risk, or time-sensitive matters when necessary.
• Serve as the primary coordination point between the FIU, business units, Fraud, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and other relevant stakeholders to obtain information and facilitate timely resolution of referrals.
• Maintain complete and accurate intake records, case trackers, assignment logs, supporting documentation, and audit trails while protecting confidential and sensitive information.
• Oversee various operational queues ensuring consistent adherence to internal SLAs.
• Develop and enhance FIU standard operating procedures, desktop procedures, escalation protocols, templates, and workflows, and recommend improvements to policies, systems, controls, and program practices.
• Maintain current knowledge of relevant financial crime risks, fraud trends, regulatory expectations, internal policies, and industry practices.
• Perform additional FIU, Compliance, or financial crime-related projects and responsibilities as assigned.What you'll be doing

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Law, Criminal Justice, Compliance, or a related field; relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Three or more years of experience in financial crime compliance, fraud operations, AML investigations, case management, regulatory compliance, or a related role within financial services or another regulated industry.
  • Working knowledge of anti-money laundering, counter-terrorist financing, fraud, sanctions, suspicious activity reporting, and other financial crime risks, including familiarity with FATF standards and applicable national or regional regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating high-volume workflows, shared mailboxes, case queues, referral processes, or other time-sensitive operational activities involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills, with the ability to assess risk, prioritize competing demands, identify urgent matters, and escalate concerns appropriately.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across different business functions, seniority levels, jurisdictions, and cultural environments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and relevant case-management, transaction-monitoring, fraud-monitoring, or compliance systems. Professional certifications such as CAMS, ICA, CFE, or an equivalent regional qualification are preferred but not required.

  • Administrative — Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records in a database, and other office procedures and terminology.
  • Technology— Ability to learn Corpay’s systems and software. Use of proprietary database products, CRM software (Salesforce), Sanctions Screening software (LexisNexis), Transaction Monitoring software (NetReveal), etc.
