About the Role

A leading public-sector organization is seeking an AML Compliance & Anti-Money Laundering Coordinator to join its Compliance and Control function.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates and professionals with initial experience who are looking to develop a career in Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Compliance, and Regulatory Affairs within a professional, dynamic, and multi-disciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform ongoing AML controls and monitoring activities in accordance with the organization's annual work plan.
  • Analyze data and dedicated reports to identify unusual activity, trends, and potential risks.
  • Conduct investigations and in-depth reviews to identify suspicious activity patterns and AML typologies.
  • Prepare reports, document findings, and present conclusions and recommendations.
  • Monitor exceptions and deficiencies and support the implementation of corrective actions.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and reviews for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Implement, maintain, and monitor AML policies, procedures, and work processes.
  • Provide professional guidance to employees and business units on AML matters.
  • Participate in training activities and support the implementation of regulatory requirements across the organization.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and external parties as required.
  • Perform additional compliance and AML-related tasks as directed by the supervisor.


Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from a recognized academic institution in Law or Accounting – mandatory.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or Attorney-at-Law (LL.B./Advocate) license – mandatory.
  • Up to one year of experience in Compliance, Anti-Money Laundering, Regulation, Audit, Risk Management, or Business Analytics – an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to draw insights from data.
  • Critical thinking skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn independently and work autonomously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Hebrew and/or English.
  • Strong organizational skills, accountability, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
