About the job 

Alfa Laval is looking for a dynamic and knowledgeable Technical Training Manager to join our global competence development team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering product and application training at our global product hubs. 

 

Success in this role requires expertise in Fluid handling products, such as pumps, valves, cleaning equipment, and mixing solutions within the food and pharmaceutical industries. You should have the ability to effectively share technical knowledge and create engaging, impactful learning experiences for diverse audiences. 

 

This position involves global travelling and requires proficiency in English, with additional language skills considered a plus. As part of our global competence development team, you will contribute to innovative learning solutions that enhance skills and expertise worldwide. 

 

Key responsibilities:  

  •  Conduct comprehensive product and application training sessions at global product hubs. 
  • Develop and deliver training programs focused on Alfa Laval fluid handling products. 
  • Act as a "train the trainer" to ensure consistent and effective training delivery across regions. 
  • Utilize innovative and interactive training methods to enhance learning experiences. 
  • Collaborate with product experts to stay updated on the latest technologies and product developments. 
  • Assess training needs and customize programs to meet the specific requirements of different regions. 
  • Provide ongoing support and mentorship to trainees to ensure knowledge retention and application. 
  • Maintain training materials and documentation to ensure accuracy and relevance. 
  • Travel globally (approximately 50-70 days per year) to conduct training sessions. 
  • Be an integral part of the global competence development team, contributing to innovative competence development initiatives. 

 

The position is based Kolding or Copenhagen, Denmark. 

 

 

What you know 

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical Education, or a related field. 
  • Extensive knowledge of fluid handling products (e.g. pumps, valves, cleaning equipment, mixing solutions). 
  • Proven experience in technical training and/or knowledge transfer. 
  • Strong communication and presentation skills. 
  • Ability to make complex technical information accessible and engaging. 
  • Experience or knowledge in "train the trainer" programs. 
  • Proficiency in English; additional language skills are a plus. 
  • Willingness to travel globally.
