The Community Relations and Brand Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering community-relations initiatives, including community events, recruitment fairs, outreach activities, and partnership opportunities. This role supports clinic growth by strengthening relationships with community members, referral sources, prospective employees, and local organizations; increasing brand awareness; and helping expand the client base while supporting a diverse insurance mix. The Community Relations and Brand Manager collaborates with the Executive Team, Clinic Directors, HR, and other team members to create a consistent, high-quality brand and customer-service experience across all locations. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, execution, and completion of community-relations events, including health fairs, community outreach events, recruitment fairs, networking opportunities, sponsorships, and local partnership activities.
  • Develop and maintain quarterly community-relations and brand-awareness plans designed to increase the organization’s visibility, strengthen community engagement, and support clinic growth.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, healthcare partners, schools, employers, referral sources, local leaders, and other stakeholders.
  • Oversee the selection, design, procurement, inventory, and distribution of branded promotional merchandise and “swag” items for internal team members, community partners, recruitment events, clients, and external stakeholders, ensuring all materials align with organizational brand standards.
  • Identify opportunities to increase client volume and support a broader, sustainable insurance mix through community outreach, partnerships, and targeted brand initiatives.
  • Coordinate with clinic leadership and internal teams to ensure outreach strategies align with organizational priorities, growth goals, staffing needs, and service offerings.
  • Monitor and manage the organization’s online presence and public reputation, including Google reviews, Indeed reviews, Glassdoor reviews, social media posts and other relevant online platforms.
  • Develop and implement action plans to address recurring feedback themes, improve online review scores, and strengthen the overall client and employee experience.
  • Partner with leadership and Human Resources to support recruitment-marketing efforts, recruitment fairs, employer branding, and community-based hiring initiatives.
  • Develop and help facilitate customer-service training for team members to reinforce service standards, communication expectations, professionalism, and a positive client experience.
  • Track community-relations activities, event outcomes, referral opportunities, online reputation trends, and brand-performance metrics; prepare regular updates for leadership.
  • Ensure brand messaging, event materials, presentations, promotional items, and community communications are accurate, professional, and consistent with organizational standards.
  • Manage multiple event timelines, priorities, vendors, materials, budgets, and stakeholder relationships while ensuring initiatives are completed effectively and on schedule.

Minimum Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Development, Communications, Public Relations, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required or preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in community relations, marketing, business development, public relations, or a related role; healthcare experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience planning, coordinating, and representing an organization at community events, outreach programs, job fairs, recruitment fairs, and partnership activities.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain productive relationships with community organizations, internal teams, referral partners, and external stakeholders.
  • Experience managing online reputation platforms, public reviews, customer feedback, or brand-perception initiatives preferred.
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation, relationship-building, and customer-service skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, events, and projects in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with social media, online review platforms, customer relationship management systems, or marketing tools preferred.
