Talent Pool - Administrative & Clerical
The Community Outreach Coordinator will work with the Center for Health Equity to support Center objectives and goals. This position reports to the Program Manager responsible for community outreach and wellness events across Guilford, Alamance and Rockingham Counties. The schedule for this position is M-F, 10am - 2pm or as negotiated with candidate (might be weekend day for events) which equals 20 hours a week.
Responsibilities
- Provides logistical support for regular community events
- Ensure that community outreach events have adequate supplies, forms and other needed resources
- Communicate with team members about logistics, scheduling and workflows
- Ensure that relevant calendars and event sign ups are up to date and disseminated to all team members
- Will be responsible for participating in weekly event planning
- Will work closely with Center for Health Equity Project Manager, Project Coordinator, and Assistant Director for Healthy Communities. Communicates regularly with other team members, including Community Care Guides
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
Required: Associates Degree in Architecture, Facility Planning, Interior Design Construction Management or equivalent field studies or working towards a degree in one of those disciplines along with a minimum of 2 years of practical experience.
Preferred: Bachelors Degree
EXPERIENCE:Required: 2 years of practical experience.
