ResponsibilitiesThe Community Lending Empowerment Specialist role is designed to enhance Old National Bank's participation in sustainable growth initiatives and perform advanced lending strategies. This role focuses on significant community development projects and technology enhancements aligned with changing business needs.
Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $51,700/yr - $101,500/yr plus bonus. The base salary indicated for this position reflects the compensation range applicable to all levels of the role across the United States. Actual salary offers within this range may vary based on a number of factors, including the specific responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s relevant skills and professional experience, educational qualifications, and geographic location.
Key Accountabilities
- Facilitate technology enhancements aligned with changing business needs.
- Create and foster partnerships with internal stakeholders to develop a solid knowledge base of the business, including needs and opportunities specifically related to application/IT platform solutions.
- Formulate and define scope and objectives for changes through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of business systems and industry standards.
- Develop and implement strategies for lending and investment to low- and moderate-income and underserved communities through direct commercial or small business lending.
- Support key Relationship Managers in lending within ONB’s underwriting requirements.
- Partner with ONB’s Community Development & Outreach team to identify, develop, and maintain relationships with community partners.
- Drive Innovation: Facilitate technology enhancements to keep pace with changing business requirements and industry standards.
- Enhance Collaboration: Foster strong partnerships with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with business needs and opportunities.
- Strategic Initiatives: Engage with executive and market leadership to establish and execute appropriate activities, tactics, and strategies to identify and pursue new business development opportunities.

- Ability to orchestrate organizational resources by identifying key players, communicating relevant information, and building collaborative client-focused relationships.
