Position Purpose: Responsible for supporting the execution of Centene Community Impact’s strategy and processes including communications, the Centene ImpACT Network, and related partnerships. Also responsible for overseeing administrative and analytic needs related to the development, design and evaluation of enterprise team member giving. Provides overall support to enable local activation of team members and help grow measurable giving impacts in member communities. This role has no direct reports.

  • Provide administrative support for Community Impact leadership in facilitating monthly Centene ImpACT® Network Connect meetings and Weekly Office Hours, including the development of agendas, presentations and resources.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for Benevity giving functionality, ensuring the Centene ImpACT Network has the necessary resources, information, governance and processes.
  • Draft communications, leveraging internal and external tools to support innovative and consistent messaging necessary for launching and growing team member giving efforts.
  • In partnership with Communications and Marketing, ideate and develop collateral to support ongoing giving messaging and campaigns.
  • Receive and respond to general inquiries from stakeholders, including community partners, and serve as a point of contact for team members who wish to engage with Centene ImpACT giving.
  • Administer programs, projects, documentation and/or processes specific to Centene ImpACT giving, including training processes and tools to support the launch of enterprise giving.
  • Oversee permissions, ensure the availability of up-to-date resources, and assist with overall look and content of the Community Impact website (SharePoint online) and Teams sites and channels.
  • Compile and arrange data, charts and reports, including validating data accuracy and making recommendations for improving the metrics tracking and reporting process.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:  

  • BA/BS degree in Marketing, Communications, Social Impact, Sustainability, Business Administration or related field and a minimum of 2+ years’ related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Proven ability to mobilize people to join social impact or engagement initiatives and knowledge of, or experience, building relationships with nonprofit organizations. General knowledge of best practices and trends in impact programs focused on workplace giving and similar issues. Strong communication and people skills, including writing and speaking to information that influences, educates and enhances understanding; experience drafting and editing presentations and communications. Stakeholder engagement skills; a demonstrated ability to build relationships, influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization, across functions and across cultural dimensions. Exceptional project/program management skills and the ability to structure and support multiple initiatives simultaneously and drive to completion in a fast-paced environment. High attention to detail. Strong analytical and data manipulation skills including report creation; ability to translate metrics, research, and trends into insights; familiarity with budget management tools. High proficiency in MS Office programs, with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint, and ability to adapt to and learn new software programs/systems. Experience with SharePoint page development, content management, and MS Forms or the proven aptitude to quickly acquire these skills. Ability to work both independently and as a strong, supportive team member. Prior experience with Excel PivotTables and Benevity or a CSR platform a plus.

Pay Range: $55,100.00 - $99,000.00 per year

Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.  Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives.
