We manage all aspects of services and programs to ensure they are implemented to their fullest potential.As a Community Experience Manager, you will work closely with the internal Exos Team and assist in daily operations for a large corporate health and wellness program that stems from multiple fitness centers. This includes facilities, management of equipment, scheduling, programming, event planning, and intramurals and recreation of/for the health and wellness program. This position will also provide set-up and breakdown of athletic games, ensuring that event venues meet specifications, and provide for the safety and welfare of event participants and guests. The hours of this position will vary based on seasons, time of year, athletic games, community initiatives, and events.
This role will help support the expanding Exos community programming as well as the growing needs of the client. Working closely with both Exos and the client's leadership, the Community Experience Manager will be responsible for the following:
Responsibilities:
Work with the internal Exos team to bring events, intramural and recreational sports programs, and initiatives to life combining both fitness and amenity facets
Works closely with the client's property management team and other community partners to aid in the delivery of all aspects of planned events, including but not limited to: Food; Beverage, Entertainment, Wellness, Fitness, Facilities, and any other necessary factors
Be present at all engagements and work with Exos and the client's team to identify team members that can help contribute to successful delivery of events and offerings
Identify success metrics and provide analysis and insight into community events being offered and their effectiveness on the growth of the client's Wellness community.
Build and grow relationships within the community and key stakeholders/wellness ambassadors to identify opportunities for direct tenant wellness events
Analyze the success of community initiatives and events and identify how they help attract new users, convert to active users, engage VIPs, contribute to a holistic approach to wellbeing
Reporting directly to a Senior Program Manager, the coordinator will assist in the annual planning of a comprehensive slate of intramural and recreational sports programs, community initiatives, and events.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Sport Management/Administration, Recreation, Business, or related discipline required
Red Cross certification in AED/CPR and First Aid
2+ years of experience planning and executing intramural and recreational sports programs, wellness, and/or hospitality events and initiatives for large-scale communities.
Experience working with various event vendors and partners.
Preferred Qualifications:
Must have the ability to work evenings
Demonstrates success in increasing programming participation in both for-profit and not-for-profit environments.
Scheduling flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends to support programming.
Successful track record managing sales, personal/small group training, operations, group programming, and customer service.
Excellent communication-both written and oral, leadership, interpersonal, and supervisory skills.
Ability to anticipate, manage, and solve operational issues on a regular, and daily, basis.
Highly skilled in Google Docs, and Excel, as well as proven ability to work with different CRM systems (i.e., CSI, Spectrum).
Outgoing personality.
Per pay transparency requirements, the compensation for this position ranges from $25 - $30/hour. Minimum rates may vary based on local wage laws. Pay is dependent on factors including site location, specialty, certifications and work experience as well as other business needs.
