Community Engagement Manager Syd/NSW

Let’s talk about this role 

As the Community Engagement Manager, you are a leading advocate in the NDIS sector to build awareness of the nib Thrive value proposition. The position will deliver this through effective stakeholder engagement activities underpinned by a digitally-led strategy and the careful assessment and attendance of key sector events. The role will also build, maintain and enable a portfolio of key ‘referrers’ who will look to us as subject matter experts in the sector.

Duties will include:

• Delivering growth through stakeholder insight and an omni -channel approach  

• Build your on-line presence and profile 

• Understand the competitor value propositions and collaborate with internal teams to provide feedback to ensure our value proposition evolves 

• Drive the implementation of community engagement strategies/activities to advocate for the nib Thrive brand and value proposition 

• Formulate a market engagement plan based on the market stage of your region. Understand and leverage the growth pillars to determine the most appropriate market engagement

Let’s talk about you 

The successful person for this position will have experience working within the NDIS sector or community services and have a strong understanding of and involvement in relationship development in a business-to-business environment. 

You are results-oriented, able to deliver strong sales and service outcomes in high-pressure environments, with sound, data-driven business decisions.

Furthermore, we’re looking for:

• A high performer and self-starter, with a proven track record in establishing strong relationships with key providers and Support Coordinators to drive plan management growth within NSW

• Ability to manage own time, allocate and revise priorities in consultation with internal business & external stakeholders

• Previous track record in identifying opportunities and collaborating with stakeholders to create mutually beneficial relationships   

• Experience in leveraging data to build insights that drive an increase in market share  

• Financial management and reporting experience (desired)

• Experience leading and working in remote or hybrid teams (desired)

• Experience using client relationship management platforms, and reporting software such as Tableau (desired)
