The Communications Manager oversees Sight & Sound’s internal and external communication efforts. They collaborate on the strategy, development, and execution of all marketing communications, ensuring messaging is clear, consistent, and in alignment with the mission, values, and culture for all branches of Sight & Sound.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Senior Marketing Manager to develop the communication and content strategy that supports company direction, brand positioning, product launches, and public relations.
  • Identify the voice, cadence, and placement of communications for all Sight & Sound branches. Ensure communications are written in one voice and convey a consistent message aligned with mission and brand standards.
  • Partner with the Digital Marketing Team and Brand Creative team to oversee the messaging and content for social media and email marketing as well as the social media moderation schedule.
  • Lead and provide professional development for communications teams.
  • Lead public relations efforts for all branches of Sight & Sound Ministries, supporting shows, films, and special events, including oversight of social media influencer campaigns. Responsible for reporting and sharing coverage and campaign results.
  • Manage corporate and marketing events as well as trade show, consumer show and community involvement needs. Guide execution efforts, ensuring consistent brand presence.
  • Lead corporate communications by proactively meeting with key department managers and leadership to stay current on happenings and foresee activities that have companywide impact. Support teams by curating information that increases employee awareness.
  • Oversee internal communication tools including Center Stage, Company Meetings, and Communication Boards, ensuring relevant content is shared in a clear and timely manner.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Prerequisites:

  • Excellent communicator with strong speaking, writing, and editing skills
  • Must be a team player and love people; ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels of the organization
  • Experience managing multiple projects, teams, and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced and complex environment
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, high attention to detail
  • Ability to think innovatively and creatively, and change course if necessary, to achieve desired results
  • Self-motivated with a positive and professional approach
  • Some travel may be required

The physical demands of this position are typical for a desk job. You will be at a desk most of the day, typically with the option to sit or stand. You may have to lift/exert up to 10 lb.s of force on occasion. The full physical requirements of this job are available upon request.
