About CredLens CredLens has built national data trust focused on verified outcomes for non-degree credentials. The effort is an initiative launched by the Strada Education Foundation in 2024. CredLens will deliver actionable insights and power ongoing research for industry-based, professional, and workforce credentials.
CredLens is designed to fill the data gap for non-degree credentials. The attainment of these credentials is growing, but there is little to no data tracking their outcomes. CredLens offers real-time data analytics and visualizations to credential issuers, workforce training providers, philanthropic funding partnerships, and state system partnerships to support the continuous improvement of credential quality and to support informed funding and scaling decisions.
The Communications Manager provides a wide range of strategic and tactical support to the CredLens Communications function as well as the leadership team with a heavy emphasis on content creation and content management. Key Responsibilities:
- Implement communication strategies that align with the organization’s mission, vision, and goals, ensuring internal collaboration, alignment, and consistency in messaging across all platforms.
- Develop and manage editorial calendars and content planning to support organizational priorities. Manage consistency with CredLens brand voice and version control.
- Write, edit, and publish a variety of communication materials including social media posts, talking points, newsletters, and presentations.
- Develop and refine content for both internal and external communications, ensuring alignment with brand voice and messaging guidelines.
- Manage the CredLens Intranet, as well as develop and implement internal communication strategies to keep staff informed and engaged with organizational priorities, initiatives, and culture.
- Assist with the creation of materials for the CredLens Board, Advisory Boards, and senior leadership.
- Ensure internal events, such as town halls, all-hands meetings, and staff recognition initiatives are appropriately supported.
- Support communication of internal policies, organizational changes, and other important updates.
- Support writing needs for executive leadership, including crafting speeches, presentations, talking points, op-eds, and other communication materials.
- Create and refine collateral (e.g., one-pagers, presentations, case studies) and client-facing materials to support outreach and lead generation.
- Help manage and update digital assets (website, social media) to support sales and marketing efforts.
- Track and report on the effectiveness of digital media strategies, using data and insights to inform future strategies.
- Support the development and execution of outreach campaigns, ensuring digital content aligns with broader marketing and communication goals.
- Participate in media monitoring and stay abreast of current events and developments in the non-degree credential space.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree: BA/BS.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in communications, marketing, executive assistant with heavy writing responsibilities, or similar role. Outstanding recent graduates will be considered.
- Exceptional communication skills, interpersonal, verbal and written, the latter across a range of platforms.
- Positive “can-do” attitude, especially for unexpected tasks; highly organized.
- Sound judgment and impeccable character.
