The Communications Manager at Bright Data will support the company’s external reputation by creating stronger internal alignment, improving crisis readiness, maintaining reputation-related messaging systems, monitoring risk areas, and supporting proactive and reactive communications.
The Communications Manager owns the systems, documentation, monitoring, coordination, and first-draft response work that allows consistent, fast responses while protecting the company’s reputation proactively. This role will work directly under the Senior Director of PR and Communications.
Responsibilities- Monitor reputation-sensitive topics, external mentions, and emerging risks.
- Maintain a live reputation risk tracker and weekly issue summary.
- Support crisis response through fact gathering, first-draft statements, issue logs, timelines, and monitoring.
- Develop and maintain internal messaging documents for key external narratives.
- Build processes that help employees use approved external messaging and route external assets for review.
- Maintain crisis templates, FAQs, and issue-specific playbooks.
- Support executive conversations with briefing materials, notes, follow-ups, and documentation.
- Draft outreach for relationship-building.
- Coordinate with teams and executives as needed.
- Support crisis training and reputation readiness initiatives.
