We are looking for a Communications Manager to join our Platform Business Management team. You will be responsible for communications across the Global Operating Platform. Working closely with colleagues across the wider team, you will ensure that communications are aligned with the platform’s priorities and integrated effectively with centralised communications.

Key Responsibilities:
This is an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of the Global Operating Platform’s communications strategy and plan during a period of maternity cover. The role will coordinate and deliver communications across the Global Operating Platform, working closely with stakeholders and colleagues in Schroders’ wider network of communications experts, including functional communications specialists and the central Communications team.
You will deliver clear and engaging communications across a variety of digital and in-person channels to raise awareness, inform, involve and educate our global audience. You will support stakeholder and corporate communications, including ExCo and senior manager communication briefings and Board papers, and contribute to client-facing communications such as the Global Operating Platform Client Presentation and strategic operational content for the RfP database.
You will create and repurpose group wide content for Global Operating Platform audiences, helping to support a strong culture across all hubs and remote locations. You will also provide guidance to stakeholders on effective internal communications, as well as support the wider communications function as appropriate.
Skills and Behaviours Required
- An excellent communicator and writer, able to develop engaging and informative content across multiple channels and adapt your writing style for different audiences
- Knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator for creating visually appealing emails, posters, digital assets and other campaign support materials would be an advantage
- Significant experience leading employee communications – ideally in a global organisation
- Interest in asset management and financial services
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Experience of working with external agencies (including design, digital, events)
- A self-starter, turning ideas into actions
