Job Description- Monitoring and analysing media coverage to identify emerging trends, potential risks, and opportunities for the company
- Track and report on key performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies
- Supporting Corporate Comms activities, such as drafting LinkedIn content for corporate and employer branding, keeping corporate touchpoints updated
- Drafting and distributing press releases, media alerts, and other communication materials to targeted media outlets
- Providing support for special projects as needed
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an Institute of Higher Learning (IHL) program in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing or a related field
- Previous internship or project experience in corporate communications or public relations is a plus but not mandatory
- Strong verbal and written skills in English
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and consistency in all communication materials
- Ability to track and report on key performance indicators
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities efficiently across differing urgency and deadlines
- Familiarity with Google Suite, LinkedIn and Slack
- Ability to work independently in hybrid/remote settings with a regional team
