Job Description
NBCUniversal's Operations & Technology (O&T) organization is responsible for technical support and infrastructure across the enterprise's vast array of production needs, as well internal corporate headquarter functions. Our team partners with technical teams across the enterprise to create comprehensive strategies and communication campaigns to properly engage technical and non-technical users in product updates and policy changes across the enterprise.
NBCUniversal is looking for a creative visual storyteller with a strong foundation in video production, editing, and motion graphics to help bring our technology initiatives to life, as well as a strong foundation in digital design. This role focuses on crafting compelling brand materials across media-primarily video-to support Ai & Innovation efforts within the Operations & Technology organization. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop clear, consistent visual standards and engaging content that drives awareness and adoption of emerging technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive visual marketing materials that meets organizational standards
- Gain deep understanding of products and services
- Translate complex information into simple, polished, engaging, user-friendly content
- Bring a creative mindset to technology messaging
- Collaborate closely with technical experts and cross-functional program teams to produce unified and impactful visual content
- Create engaging, on-brand video content to support Product teams in communicating and marketing their products internally to NBCU employees
- Deliver high-quality design work quickly and efficiently
- Work with our senior communications team to develop brand guidelines specific for video production
- Support and manage the creative digital design assets across O&T enterprise
Qualifications
Requirements:
- 4+ years of professional graphic design experience, with a strong video portfolio showcasing storyboarding, editing, and motion graphic skills
- Deep proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects
- Proficiency in Creative Suite (Illustrator & Photoshop) and other design tools preferred
- Strong understanding of design principles, timing, typography, color theory, composition techniques, and video quality
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and foster a collaborative environment that encourages creativity and high performance
- Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex subject matter
- Strong written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail (both written and visual)
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to establish and maintain strong professional relationships
- Experience in digital design, including UI/UX principles
- Experience in creating visual identities and launching brand packages for new initiatives that include guidelines, templates, and asset libraries for use across teams
- Experience designing for executive-level/c-suite customers
- Experience organizing video production logistics and filming on-site
- Up to date on the latest design and video trends, including AI-assisted creative work
- Experience in working with Engineers/Technical Leads to improve user experience and create engaging visuals and diagrams for technical support content
Additional Requirements:
- Commutable Remote: This position requires working a minimum of three days per week from our New York office, with the ability to work remotely the other days.
