We are looking for a creative and culturally attuned Communications Associate to support our brand’s growth and engagement across digital platforms in Nigeria. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in content creation, social media management, and community engagement, combined with a strong understanding of the local audience.

This role is perfect for someone who is both creative and strategic, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about building meaningful online communities through compelling content.

As the Communication Associate, you will:

  • Create engaging social media content that aligns with the brand’s voice and style.
  • Curate and schedule posts to maintain consistency across platforms.
  • Assist in producing multimedia content such as infographics, short videos, and graphics.
  • Manage daily interactions on social media, responding to comments and messages promptly.
  • Track basic metrics like engagement, reach, and follower growth, and recommend improvements.
  • Stay updated on social media trends and propose creative content ideas.
  • Monitor competitor activity and industry conversations to gather insights.
  • Identify potential brand risks on social platforms and escalate when necessary.
  • Participate in online discussions to build community and cultivate loyal followers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s in Communications, Marketing, PR, or similar.
  • 1–2 years’ experience in social media, content creation, or community engagement.
  • Strong familiarity with social media management tools.
  • Strong writing, editing, and visual communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of analytics.
  • Able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
