We are looking for a communications professional with a proven track record of delivering engaging multi-channel communications and managing competing priorities in a busy environment. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys creating content, delivering campaigns, analysing results, and using digital tools to achieve measurable outcomes. You will be confident working across a range of channels and platforms, using your communication skills and creativity to engage diverse audiences and drive positive customer experiences.

Wiltshire Pension Fund manages approximately £4 billion of assets and operates in a highly regulated environment. As part of our forward-thinking team, you will help us continue to improve the way we communicate, with a strong focus on digital engagement, self-service and customer experience. Pensions can be a complex subject, so you will need excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to translate technical information into clear, plain English. A key focus of the role will be helping to simplify member communications and modernise our approach to engagement.

Working as part of the Wiltshire Pension Fund communications team and reporting to the Communications and Stakeholder Engagement Lead, you will play a key role in delivering our strategy. You'll help transform how we communicate with more than 90,000 pension scheme members and 162 employers, making complex information simple, accessible and engaging.

This role would suit someone with strong experience in communications and a proven track record of developing and delivering multi-channel communications campaigns across websites, email, webinars, social media and digital platforms. The successful candidate will be experienced in creating engaging, high-quality content for diverse audiences, using tools such as Mailchimp, Canva and CRM systems to plan, deliver and evaluate campaigns. They will be highly organised, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards, and confident in using data, analytics and customer insights to improve engagement and communication performance. Strong stakeholder management skills are essential, together with the ability to work collaboratively, take ownership of projects and deliver measurable results.

This is an exciting opportunity for a communications professional who enjoys being a doer as well as a thinker. You will have the autonomy to lead projects, test new approaches, and use your expertise to shape how thousands of people engage with their pension benefits. If you are a proactive communications professional with strong digital skills, excellent organisational abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality customer-focused communications, we would love to hear from you.
