What this job involves:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Communications Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and distributing internal building-level and organizational communications. The ideal candidate brings exceptional writing ability, a sharp editorial eye, hands-on experience distributing communications through CMS platforms, and an unwavering commitment to accuracy in every deliverable. You will draft, edit, and proofread a wide range of communications materials, review all outgoing communications for grammatical accuracy, consistency, tone, and brand alignment before distribution, and maintain and enforce brand voice, style guides, and editorial standards across all communication channels.
What your day-to-day will look like:
Draft, edit, and proofread a wide range of internal communications materials, reviewing all outgoing communications for grammatical accuracy, consistency, tone, and brand alignment before distribution
Distribute internal communications to building-level and organizational audiences using content management systems (CMS)
Maintain and enforce brand voice, style guides, and editorial standards across all communication channels, coordinating with cross-functional teams to gather accurate information and ensure messaging is consistent and error-free
Ensure timely delivery of communications with zero tolerance for factual or typographical errors, proofread and fact-check materials produced by other team members prior to final approval
Identify and correct inconsistencies, ambiguities, or inaccuracies in communications before they reach their intended audience
Monitor and track communications metrics and compile detailed reports with precise data analysis
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high accuracy standards and taking ownership of deliverables to ensure accuracy and completeness
Leverage AI-assisted writing tools when applicable to support communication quality and consistency

Required Qualifications:
Experience distributing internal communications using content management systems (CMS) is a must
Proven experience executing and distributing internal communications is a must, preferably within a corporate environment
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to produce polished, error-free content
Proven track record of meticulous attention to detail with ability to catch errors others miss
Strong command of grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high accuracy standards
Strong organizational skills with ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines without sacrificing quality
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience distributing communications to broad populations (building-wide, organization-wide)
Familiarity with internal communications platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Slack, Microsoft Teams)
Knowledge of digital communications best practices
Familiarity with AI-assisted writing resources and tools to improve communication quality
Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and gather information from stakeholders at all levels
Experience monitoring and tracking communications metrics with detailed data analysis capabilities
