The Mobile Broadband Business Unit (MBBU) at Ceva is a leading innovation hub developing advanced modem and Digital Signal Processing (DSP) ASIC solutions for next-generation wireless communication systems. About the role:
In this role, you will have a direct impact on our product quality. As a team member in our SW team, you will be responsible for the development and operating of different SW and HW blocks in our system, analyze, optimize and debug your work and test the results and explore issues on your developed modules and other modules you will integrate with.
You will solve complicated failures and bugs and will dive into the code and the HW to understand why the failure occurs. You will be responsible for managing your developed products, including full test plan that will drive our system to zero bugs on the customer side
You will use the newest AI tools to speed up your development and debugging
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, maintain, optimize, and run various SW parts that are needed for the 5G Modem, including HW blocks drivers programming and operation.
Analyze and debug test results and explore results and issues.
Verify functionality and code performance of your developed code.
Track problematic code parts and work on improving them, WRT code cycle performance and code size performance.
Requirements- BSc in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent. Final Grade 80+
- 2-4 years of experience in C code programming is required.
- Experience in embedded SW is important, including writing drivers and working with HW/FPGA, high level debugging skills and solving issues independently
- Good C code writing capabilities and good coding style.
- Independent, responsible and motivated to learn and invest the time and develop personally.
Advantage:
- Experience on cellular (3G/4G/5G) or Wifi protocols.
- Experience in Python scripting.
- Experience in Matlab scripting.
- Experience in C++ object oriented coding.
- Experience in developing/debugging code with AI tools
Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
- Final grade of 80 or higher
- 2–4 years of experience in C programming
- Embedded software experience, including driver development and working with hardware or FPGA
- Advanced debugging skills and ability to solve issues independently
- Strong C programming and coding style
- Independence, responsibility, motivation to learn, and personal development
- Experience with cellular 3G, 4G, or 5G or Wi-Fi protocols
- Experience with Python scripting
- Experience with MATLAB scripting
