This role is based in Berlin/Munich, Germany or Rennes, France.  

 

IDnow is looking for Communication & AI Transformation Manager, reporting directly to the Chief of Staff and working in close partnership with, Leadership, the People & Org team, Marketing, and more. You will own internal communications end-to-end and co-own the AI transformation project with accountability for delivery.  

You will act as the company’s internal voice, ensuring IDnow’s people understand where we are going, why it matters, and how they fit in. 
This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of strategy, communications, and organisational change inside one of Europe’s leading identity verification companies. 

Key Responsibilities 

AI Transformation 

  • Co-own the AI transformation with the Chief of Staff, with direct accountability for delivery
  • Build and manage a structured operating rhythm for AI rollout across the business
  • Track adoption, enablement, and measurable impact; report progress to leadership on a consistent cadence
  • Coordinate enablement initiatives across functions and ensure the company moves in a consistent direction
  • Operate AI-first across your own workflows and share learnings proactively with the organisation. 
     

Internal Communications 

  • Own internal communications end-to-end, including strategy, content-creation, and channel management
  • Lead internal comms on our company's transformation - translating complex strategy into clear, credible, and consistent messaging
  • Craft and shape CEO and leadership messaging across key moments
  • Plan and deliver the monthly All Hands cycle end-to-end - planning, scripting, and coordinating
  • Develop and maintain an internal comms calendar aligned to business priorities
  • Manage and optimise Slack, Confluence, and other internal channels so information actually lands
  • Bring IDnow’s progress, culture, and milestones to life through compelling storytelling 

 
Stakeholder Partnership & Engagement 

  • Act as a comms partner to the extended leadership team, supporting their communications and ensuring message consistency
  • Facilitate Insight Sessions, fireside chats, and other engagement formats that create dialogue, not just broadcast
  • Work closely with People & Org, Marketing, Product, and senior leaders to keep messaging coherent across the business
  • Support the Chief of Staff on research, briefings, and cross-functional priorities as needed 
Preferred Experience 
  • Proven experience in internal communications and/or business operations, ideally in a fast-moving, scaling tech or SaaS environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (our working language at 
    IDnow)
  • Strong stakeholder management - comfortable working with strong personalities across multiple functions
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and driving structure where none yet exists
  • A creative eye for format, storytelling, and engagement - not just information delivery
  • Genuinely AI-first in how you work - you reach for AI tools by default, not as a last resort
  • Operationally sharp - able to shift between strategic comms work and hands-on project coordination without losing quality in either
  • Experience supporting or communicating through organisational or product transformation is a strong plus
  • Fluent in working with LLMs including Claude and Gemini, and experienced with workflow-building
  • Fluent in Slack, Confluence, Jira, PowerPoint and Excel
