Key Responsibilities

  • Owns product change management (PCM) and control

    • Unreleased product approval and control

    • ECO (Engineering Change Order) approval

    • Implementation of PCN (Part Change Notification), with Global Product Support

    • Provides guidance/input to Engineering and the Business Unit about the field service impact of part/supplier changes.

  • Accuracy of customer shipped configurations and BOMs (Bill of Materials)

    • CaRM (Configuration accuracy Review Meeting) reviews

    • BOM (Bill of Materials) accuracy

    • NSR (Non Standard Request)  approval 

  • Owns common modules roadmap and implementation post Phase 5 of ePLC.

  • Implementation of component roadmaps including part obsolescence, replacements, alternative vendors and cost reduction

  • Facilitates Intercompany communication to align on product strategies, provide guidance on pricing, spare level contents, and restricted part orders. Facilitates alignment meeting for product roadmap and market proliferation

  • Implementation of cost reduction roadmap

  • Manage strategic vendor issues

  • Manage all changes to the product after product release

    • whether driven by engineering, quality, safety, customer demands or supply obsolesce

Functional Knowledge

  • Demonstrates conceptual and practical expertise in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines

  • Has knowledge of CSG Common platforms used by FEP including Producer and Centura ACP.  

    Has some knowledge on AMAT internal EFEM: 6.xA and 6.xN FI.

    Help tracking all CSG related Obs and implementation plan on FEP Products.

    Following all CSG ECRs which impact FEP Products and coordinate ECR cut in and related PCNs.

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.

Skills Required

  • Experience owning product change management (PCM), ECO/ECR approval, and PCN implementation
  • Experience ensuring BOM accuracy and configuration management (CaRM) and NSR approvals
  • Experience implementing component roadmaps including part obsolescence, replacements, alternative vendors, and cost reduction
  • Ability to coordinate intercompany communication on product strategies, pricing, spare level contents, and restricted part orders
  • Knowledge of CSG common platforms used by FEP, including Producer and Centura ACP
  • Some knowledge of Applied Materials internal EFEM: 6.xA and 6.xN FI
  • Experience managing strategic vendor issues and post-release product change impacts across engineering, quality, safety, and supply
  • Experience tracking CSG-related obsolescences and coordinating related implementation plans for FEP products
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 10% of the time
