The Position

The Commercial Solutions Lead is a specialised leadership role responsible for the operational integrity of the UK's customer-engagement infrastructure. You lead a high-performing team of Solution Owners and Journey Orchestrators to deliver robust digital platforms, seamless data flows and innovative GenAI tools. Your mandate is to lead a multi-year transition toward using data, analytics, AI and digital most effectively to deliver business outcomes. 

You own the technical roadmap and operational health of the entire UK commercial toolkit that enables world-class customer engagement. You will position the UK as a global centre for commercial innovation, partnering with the Data Team to keep platforms powered by clean, real-time, compliant data, and serving as the primary UK technical stakeholder for global product teams. 

The Opportunity: 

Your focus is to build the integrated technology ecosystem that lets marketing, medical affairs, sales and field teams win. 

  • You direct a team of five, including three Solution Owners and two Journey Orchestrators, fostering technical excellence and agile delivery. 

  • You oversee the lifecycle of our MarTech stack, ensuring CRM, marketing automation and analytics tools are fit for purpose. 

  • You define what good looks like for our technical products, owning backlogs and delivery cycles. 

  • You lead the technical deployment of GenAI and automated marketing models. 

  • You are accountable for the technical guardrails that ensure automated compliance across digital and field interactions. 

  • You identify and decommission redundant local tools to streamline the UK commercial engine. 

  • You drive organisation-wide mindset shifts so new commercial solutions are genuinely adopted. 

Who you are: 

  • You have led specialised technical teams and navigated complex, matrixed global environments. 

  • You bring expert-level knowledge of the CRM and marketing-automation ecosystem, such as Veeva and Adobe. 

  • You understand deeply how integrated technology stacks drive sales outcomes and patient access. 

  • You manage complex software lifecycles and technical roadmaps with exceptional agility. 

  • You have driven digital transformation and organisational change that delivered high technology adoption. 

Preferred: 

  • Proven success leading omnichannel infrastructure design in a complex matrix. 

  • Experience influencing global product owners to secure local priorities. 

  • Familiarity with PowerBI or Tableau, enterprise data lakes and GenAI commercial models.

Relocation support is available for internal Roche candidates moving to the UK from another Roche affiliate.
