Are you a strategic sales leader who thrives on developing high-performing teams and driving business growth? We're looking for a Commercial Sales Manager to lead sales operations, coach and develop a best-in-class sales team, and partner across the organization to maximize profitability and customer growth.

In this role, you'll combine leadership, analytics, and strategic planning to improve sales performance while supporting key initiatives across the business. What You'll Do

  • Recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing commercial sales team focused on organic growth, customer retention, and new business acquisition.
  • Conduct field coaching, joint sales calls, and ongoing performance management to help Sales Representatives achieve their goals.
  • Partner with Operations and Marketing to identify trends, improve profitability, and implement best practices.
  • Monitor sales performance, budgets, commissions, and key performance metrics to ensure business objectives are achieved.
  • Manage CRM compliance and identify opportunities to improve sales processes and productivity.
  • Build and analyze business reports that support strategic planning and executive decision-making.
  • Support pricing optimization initiatives by collaborating with vendors and internal pricing teams.
  • Develop sales compensation documentation, territory planning, and performance improvement plans.
  • Provide leadership during branch onboarding and support company growth initiatives.
  • Foster strong cross-functional relationships while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a safety-first mindset.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in high-volume sales or sales operations leadership.
  • Proven experience leading, coaching, and developing successful sales teams.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Experience using Sage CRM or other CRM platforms.
  • Working knowledge of Power BI or similar business intelligence tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Outstanding customer service mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
