Job DescriptionAn exciting opportunity is available to join the standards commercial team as a Project Manager. This role involves planning, managing, and delivering a varied portfolio of commercial projects. The job holder will make sure projects meet quality, timing, and budget requirements. You will support the EMEA Sales team in driving business growth and meeting goals. This is an outstanding chance to join a world-class team known for innovation and excellence!
Key Responsibilities
Oversight of a varied collection of commercial projects including:
- Preparation and maintenance of project documentation (e.g., project planning documents, project costings, etc.)
- Liaising with our internal teams to plan and monitor projects
- Monitoring project progress to ensure timely and on-budget delivery
- Ensuring project outputs align with quality assurance plans
- Coordinating project meetings (e.g., drafting meeting papers, agendas, minutes)
- Keeping project collaborators informed of progress
- Preparing progress reports for programme management and customers
- Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors, monitoring payments
- Assisting with contract documentation
- Management and use of company’s ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system IFS (training will be provided)
Qualifications
Knowledge, Experience and Technical Skills:
- Outstanding organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking
- Experience working with multiple functions and collaborators at all levels
- Significant experience within a commercial environment and understanding of sales cycle is beneficial
- Strong communicator with proven ability to influence collaborators
- Outstanding Excel and project management skills
- Proficient in English, second language desirable
