Then Jobber might be the place for you! We’re looking for a Commercial Pricing Manager to be part of our Monetization and Market Intelligence team.
Jobber exists to help people in small businesses be successful. We work with small home service businesses, like your local plumbers, painters, and landscapers, to transform the way service is delivered through technology. With Jobber they can quote, schedule, invoice, and collect payments from their customers while providing an easy and professional customer experience. Running a small business today isn’t like it used to be—the way we consume and deliver service is changing rapidly, technology is evolving, and customers expect more. That’s why we put the power and flexibility in their hands to run their businesses how, where, and when they want!

Our culture of transparency, inclusivity, collaboration, and innovation has been recognized by Great Place to Work, Canada’s Most Admired Corporate Cultures, and more. Jobber has also been named on the Globe and Mail’s Canada’s Top Growing Companies list, and Deloitte Canada’s Technology Fast 50™, Enterprise Fast 15, and Technology Fast 500™ lists. With an Executive team that has over thirty years of industry experience of leading the way, we’ve come a long way from our first customer in 2011—but we’ve just scratched the surface of what we want to accomplish for our customers.

The Team

Monetization and Market Intelligence (MMI) at Jobber is accountable for shaping our monetization roadmap and driving smarter revenue growth through market insights, competitive intelligence, and optimized pricing strategy. This cross-functional team supports Go-to-Market (GTM), Product, and Finance partners with both core pricing strategy and l pricing programs that unlock revenue.

Our mission is to help Jobber win in a competitive SaaS market by maximizing value capture at every point in the customer lifecycle and enabling teams with best-in-class pricing strategy, processes, and guidance.

The Role

Reporting to the Director of Monetization, the Commercial Pricing Manager is Jobber’s lead for negotiated revenue optimization — including promotion strategy, discount governance, deal desk pricing frameworks, channel pricing and incentive programs.

This role will design, govern, and operationalize pricing programs that help Jobber win more business while protecting and expanding net revenue. You will help define how we price, manage discount rules and promotions across direct and self-serve channels. You will partner with RevOps and Sales leadership on deal structure, and build repeatable processes that balance velocity with value capture.

The Commercial Pricing Manager will:

  • Lead design and governance of commercial pricing policies, including negotiated deals, promotions, incentives, and channel offers.

  • Define pricing guardrails and approval workflows to ensure alignment between sales execution and company revenue goals.

  • Partner with RevOps on deal desk process optimization and tooling that supports scalable negotiated pricing.

  • Partner with GTM leadership (Sales, CS), Finance, and Product to align on pricing strategy, approval thresholds, and promotional calendars.

  • Build and maintain pricing playbooks, deal desk guidelines, tools, and self-serve decision frameworks.

  • Use data to assess discount effectiveness, win/loss performance, price realization, and revenue leakage.

  • Establish KPIs and reporting to track negotiated revenue performance and program impact.

  • Support forecasting and scenario planning for pricing and promotions.

To be successful, you will need:

  • Extensive experience with pricing strategy, revenue optimization, deal desk, discount and/or promotions programs — ideally in B2B SaaS or subscription-based businesses.

  • Track record of partnering with sales, rev ops, and finance to launch and scale pricing programs or deal desk functions.

  • Strong quantitative skills with demonstrated ability to use data and analytics to inform pricing decisions and measure impact.

  • Experience defining pricing KPIs / reporting to inform leadership decisions.

  • Outstanding communication skills with experience influencing cross-functional partners and executive stakeholders.

  • Comfortable presenting pricing insights, trade-offs, and recommendations to business leaders.

  • Bias for action in a dynamic environment — comfortable with ambiguity and driving clarity.

  • Fintech, payments experience considered a bonus.

  • A dedicated Talent Development team and access to coaching, learning, and leadership programs to help you grow your career, reach your goals, and unlock your full potential.

  • A unique opportunity to build, grow, and leave your impact on a $400-billion industry that has no dominant player...yet.

  • To work with a group of people who are humble, supportive, and give a sh*t about our customers.

We believe that diverse teams perform better and that fostering an inclusive work environment is a key part of growing a successful team.
