We are looking for a talented Commercial Power Generation Inside Sales Representative to join our team in Dallas, TX.

 

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Drive revenue growth by converting inbound inquiries and prospect opportunities into sales, while identifying new business opportunities through proactive outreach and relationship building. 

  • Achieve sales and margin targets by effectively managing the sales cycle, conducting customer discussions, and supporting negotiations aligned with company guidelines. 

  • Strengthen customer loyalty by delivering an exceptional customer experience and ensuring seamless execution of the sales process from lead generation to order fulfillment. 

  • Generate and qualify leads for the sales team, helping expand the pipeline and create opportunities that contribute to long-term business growth. 

  • Support sales operations through quotation and RFP management, accurate forecasting, CRM maintenance, and timely reporting of sales activities and results. 

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships by responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and acting as a trusted partner to support ongoing business needs. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to balance inventory, service, and delivery capabilities with customer expectations, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

  • Embrace diverse perspectives and use customer, industry, and channel knowledge to develop tailored solutions that strengthen customer relationships and differentiate Cummins in the marketplace.
    Education, Licenses, Certifications: 
    Advanced certificates or college degree in the field of Sales or Marketing, or an acceptable combination of education and experience required.
    This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. 
    Experience: 
    Limited prior experience required. Experience as a quote analyst or another sales support function desirable. Limited travel may be required. Experience with customer relationship management software desirable. Experience with other software-based sales and business tools desirable.
