The Corporate Health Commercial Operations Partner owns the commercial backbone of Corporate Health. This role ensures that Occupational Health, wellness, lifestyle management, care navigation, and related enterprise services translate cleanly into accurate billing, strong collections, and predictable renewals.
The role works at the intersection of operations, finance, contracts, and delivery. It does not manage day-to-day clinical operations. Instead, it ensures that what is designed, sold, and delivered is financially sound, contractually compliant, and revenue-realizing.
This role partners closely with Client Engagement, OH Operations, Healthcare Resource, Analytics, and Finance to prevent revenue leakage, reduce AR risk, and enable confident scaling of Corporate Health services.Job Purpose
To safeguard the commercial, contractual, and revenue integrity of Medicard’s Corporate Health platform by ensuring services are delivered, documented, billed, collected, and renewed with discipline, transparency, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial and Billing Governance
• Define and govern billing triggers, documentation standards, and invoicing workflows across Corporate Health services
• Ensure alignment between service delivery, documentation, and billable scope
• Monitor billing accuracy and resolve discrepancies that impact invoicing or collections
• Actively identify and eliminate sources of revenue leakage
Accounts Receivable and Revenue Realization
• Own visibility and coordination of Corporate Health AR in partnership with Finance
• Diagnose root causes of delayed or disputed invoices
• Work cross-functionally to resolve AR blockers related to documentation, scope, or service execution
• Support sustained AR improvement through process and governance changes
Contract Lifecycle and Renewal Discipline
• Own contract onboarding readiness from a commercial and operational standpoint
• Ensure services are delivered in accordance with contractual scope and pricing
• Maintain renewal calendars, flag risks early, and support renewal readiness
• Enforce contract discipline and escalate scope creep or non-standard exceptions
Integration with Delivery and Engagement Teams
• Partner with OH Operations to ensure operational execution supports billing and contract requirements
• Work with Client Engagement Partner to support renewal narratives with clean commercial data
• Align with Healthcare Resource Partner to ensure billable staffing models
• Coordinate with Analytics to ensure reporting supports commercial narratives
Commercial Enablement and Scalability
• Support new program launches by defining operational and billing readiness requirements
• Standardize commercial processes to support scale without increasing manual effort
• Provide commercial input into service design, pilots, and enterprise expansions
Qualifications
• Seven to twelve years of experience in healthcare operations, healthcare finance, billing, managed services, or enterprise service delivery
• Strong experience with contracts, billing processes, and revenue governance in healthcare settings
• Understanding of how clinical delivery, documentation, and billing intersect
• Comfort working cross-functionally with clinical, operational, finance, and client-facing teams
• Highly detail-oriented with strong process discipline and escalation judgment
Success Metrics
• >99% billing accuracy across Corporate Health services
• Accounts receivable greater than 90 days not exceeding 15% of total Corporate Health AR
• >95% of contracts renewed on time with no service disruption
• Reduced incidence of billing disputes or scope-related revenue leakage
• Improved confidence from Sales and Client Engagement teams in renewal and expansion discussions
