The Commercial Operations Lead will serve as a strategic and operational partner to the Head of Commercial, helping enhance local operations, transfer best practices, and build stronger alignment between global and local teams, as well as optimizing efficient cross-functional collaboration 

This role offers a unique opportunity to gain broad cross-functional business exposure, build enterprise perspective, and accelerate professional growth through close partnership with senior leadership. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

Commercial Planning, Execution & Performance 

  • Act as central orchestrator of PFP commercial organizational priorities across functions including leading the definition and tracking of launch KPI’s, strategic planning, new hire on-boarding, Commercial org. culture, senior leadership reporting, coordination of forecast preparation, slide presentation preparation for Senior leadership reviews, etc. 

  • Lead priority Commercial activities, coordinating commercial team alignment, execution and performance tracking against strategic priorities, including regular reporting to PFP LT and HQ partners in France 

  • Work collaboratively with PFP LT on cross-functional execution of key business initiatives, leading or supporting coordination, execution and tracking 

  • Ensure visibility and tracking of critical initiatives and risks, report on those to the Head of Commercial and CLT 

 

Strategic Partnership & Stakeholder Management 

  • Exceptional learning agility with the ability to rapidly grow, adapt, and take on increasing responsibility, serving as a strategic thought partner and operational lead to the Head of Commercial.  

  • Coordinate Commercial Leadership Team (CLT) agenda, priorities, and follow-up: monthly onsite, weekly Round Robin 

  • Serve as interface with HQ on Commercial operational topics, including monthly HQ/PFP Cross-Team Governance meetings. 

 

Budget & Financial Management 

  • Manage Commercial Budget including Finance submissions ensuring timely input and alignment form commercial stakeholders (open POs, review of YTD actuals, Forecasting, Budget planning, etc)

  • Proactively communicate, anticipate issues, taking the initiative in generating and effectively communicating potential solutions 

  • Escalate issues early with clear recommendations

 REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 

  • 4-6 years of Pharma experience, ideally in commercial roles 

  • 2-3 years of demonstrated success in operational roles 

  • Good understanding/experience of Commercialization process 

  • Demonstrated experience driving operational improvements and process efficiency. 

  • Experience in rare or ultra rare diseases a plus 

  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, adapt quickly, and operate independently. 

  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills across cultures and organizational levels. 

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully influence without authority, building trusting, productive cross functional relationships 

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT/LOCATION: 

  • NJ preferred; hybrid (2 days/week in Secaucus office). Open to remote candidates, depending on experience and business needs. 

  • Up to 30% of domestic travel required, with occasional international travel. 

  • If employee is remotely located, regular overnight travel to headquarters will be required (Secaucus, NJ) 

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary Range: $120,000 – $210,000

This range represents the base annual full-time salary for all positions within the applicable job grade. The actual salary offer will depend on a range of factors including experience, education, location, and other relevant qualifications. This position is also eligible for a Pierre Fabre bonus, commission, or incentive program in addition to the base pay.
