  • JOB TITLE:  Commercial Manager

  • SALARY:  £65,385 - £72,560

  • LOCATION(S): Watford

  • HOURS: Full-time

  • WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at our Watford office.

About this Opportunity

The Commercial Team is responsible for the delivery of strategic growth projects, new products and the continuous development of insight, reporting, and forecasting. It also has responsibility for the end-to-end profitability of vehicles during the lifetime of the contract. The team works closely with all aspects of the business to deliver long-term profitable growth. We are passionate about developing insights and using them to deliver rapid, sustainable commercial advantage.

The Commercial Manager role is integral to the management and reporting of Tusker services, including insurance, repairs and maintenance. Your analytical insights will drive understanding across the business, as well as working with external partners to action change

  • Regular and ad hoc analysis of performance, highlighting areas of opportunity and risk

  • Preparing, analysing and presenting monthly commercial & financial information. I.e. investigation of variances against budget and forecast

  • Reviewing tools to review and track performance and recommend improvements including systemic solutions to support a growing portfolio

What you’ll need

  • An analytical mindset, backed with strong technical ability and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication skills to operate as a relationship-builder; confident interacting with internal partners and external suppliers

  • Strong organisational skills, able to deliver on deadlines and balance workload

And any experience of these would be really useful

  • Background / exposure to car insurance and vehicle leasing

  • Business partnering with external partners / suppliers
