We're looking for a dynamic and results-driven Commercial Lines Producer to join our team in Stafford Springs, Connecticut. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of our commercial insurance business, building and nurturing client relationships while driving new business growth. As a Commercial Lines Producer, you'll combine your sales expertise with industry knowledge to identify opportunities, develop strategic solutions, and exceed ambitious sales targets. - Meet and exceed established sales quotas on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis through consistent effort and strategic planning
- Execute targeted sales activities including cold calls, in-person client meetings, and compelling prospect presentations to generate new business opportunities
- Develop and maintain a robust book of business, ensuring high renewal rates and long-term client satisfaction
- Collaborate effectively with Client Service teams to analyze renewal business, identify growth opportunities, and seamlessly place new accounts
- Leverage sales and marketing tools and platforms to execute results-oriented activities and track performance metrics
- Serve as a subject matter expert in your chosen area of commercial lines focus to maximize long-term success and client outcomes
- Analyze market trends and client needs to provide tailored insurance solutions that drive competitive advantage
- Follow established sales methodologies and best practices, utilizing company tools and sales management platforms effectively
- Maintain detailed records and documentation to support transparency, compliance, and informed decision-making
- Communicate professionally with internal teams and external clients to build trust and foster collaborative relationships
- Valid state-issued Property and Casualty License
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Sales, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, or a related field of study
- Minimum 2-5 years of professional experience in an insurance sales role or related commercial lines environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
- Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed business decisions
- Strong internal and external communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
- Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships while managing a growing book of business
- Strong negotiation and consultative selling skills
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and resilience in a competitive sales environment
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented culture
- Preferred: Experience with insurance industry software platforms and knowledge of commercial lines products
