Brown & Brown is seeking a Commercial Lines Leader to join our growing team in Tacoma, WA! 

 

How You Will Contribute: 

  • Responsible for the day-to-day supervision of department by managing workflow, evaluating progress, and addressing performance issues

  • Directly mentor team members, manage training initiatives, and devise comprehensive training plans

  • Oversight and ownership of Commercial Lines Department results

  • Develop and implement business strategies in collaboration with PCL and manage strategic relationships with third parties

  • Pursue cross-selling opportunities with the PCL, Marketing Department Leader, and other members of the leadership team

  • Maintain relations with carrier personnel

  • Keep current on marketplace changes and inform customers and necessary

  • Manage own book of business and follow all requirements as outlined in the Account Manager job description

  • Maintain quality working relationships with carrier partners

  • Stay aware of basic appetite requirements and stay current and communicate to the team any incentives or commission increases

  • Intimate knowledge of books of business, individual workload and key accounts

  • Involve self on key accounts/relationships to strengthen bond with agency; advise PCL of any concerns with key/large account relationships

  • Other duties or special projects may be assigned

Pay Range

$100,000 - $140,000 Annual

The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
